Space and Military Applications Electronic Hardware Addendum to IPC J-STD-001H

J-001HS identifies requirements used in addition to or in place of those in J-STD-001H to ensure reliability of electronic assemblies that must survive vibration and thermal cycling environments in space and military applications.

J-001HS is not a stand-alone document. It is used in concert with J-001H to identify required J-001H changes for space and military applications.

In event of a conflict between requirements of J-001H and J-001HS, J-001HS takes precedence.

In this 1-day class, students review required changes to IPC-J-STD-001H to enable product exposure to harsh environments in space and military applications.

CIS students complete a 30-question open book exam at the end of the class. Minimum passing grade is 70.
